FIRE PROTECTION
AGI is one of Hampton Roads' premier fire protection consultants. We have completed commercial and government projects in all areas of fire protection, including basic wet pipe sprinkler systems and non-addressable fire alarm systems, to aircraft hangars with low level high expansion foam suppression systems and triple infrared detection systems. We have also completed base wide designs and studies for fire detection systems that have included both hard-wired and wireless via transmitter type alarm systems. Our Fire Protection engineers have thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles of physics and chemistry governing fire growth, spread and suppression. Our experts have substantial experience in the application of NFPA standards and state building codes in construction design and analysis. In the past, we have provided completely integrated Fire Protection designs that include code reviews for life safety, egress and construction separation in addition to suppression and detection.
