Wing Operation Center

The
design of a 101,936 square foot Enhanced Wing
Operations Center. The Facility is comprised
of three distinct functional areas. The facility
is a two-story Combined Air Operations Center
or CAOC with Nuclear Biological Chemical Specialized
Protection. Special construction consisted of
Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCIF) rooms/area
meeting the requirements of DIA and NSA, computer
server farm data processing rooms and blast
protection criteria. Special systems included
multiple uninterruptible power supplies (UPS),
multiple backup emergency generators connected
in parallel operation, secured classified and
unclassified unsecured voice and Network systems,
copper and optical fiber (e.g. NIPRNET, SIPRNET,
Radionet, CENTRIX Nets, JWICS, Red Switch Voice,
Normal Voice, STE Encrypted Terminal, Gray Phone
Voice), raised access flooring and electrical
and communications distribution, special high
security intrusion diction and access control,
classified LAN fiber optic intrusion detection
(FOIDS). Meets Antiterrorism and Force Protection
UFC 4-010-01 standards. Additional systems included
HVAC, exterior electrical and communications.
Fire protection included compartmentalization,
wet pipe sprinkler system, interstitial space
fire detection, and addressable fire alarm system.

in the Army Museum

Full engineering design for a new single story
modern museum for "Women in the Army".
The design includes complete plumbing, mechanical,
electrical, and fire protection/fire alarm.
The project required 13.2KV underground power
system and communications system expansion.
The facility design criteria includes, DOD,
Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards and
American with Disabilities Act
.
